Once for All Inc., is a nonprofit organization which publishes a magazine that focuses its attention on domestic violence and / or violence against women. As well as recognize there is an outlet for victims of abusive relationships like these. For me, being raised in the Church and being introduced to faith in God at an early age, prompted me to not only return to Him but turn to Him when I had no one else to turn to for comfort as well as an escape. My trust in Jesus Christ, the son of God who gave His life as a sacrifice and a ransom resulting in Him being able to not only feel our pain but provide a way to be healed from it so we can have an abundant life. A life that does not have to suffer because that was His purpose in taking our place on the cross. He knows what it feels like to be abused, hated, mistreated, forsaken, persecuted and so much more. What better person to take advice from than that of someone who has been in our shoes. This, as well as my experiences, inspires me to share my story with you to let you know that as much as this violence is universal, so is God’s love for you.

As this magazine deals with violence against women from others as well as ourselves, the one thing that will help us live is making the decision we want to be here to live and be all we can be.
